Jonathan Quick saved 21 of 22 shots as the Los Angeles Kings eliminated the St. Louis Blues with a 2-1 victory Friday night.

There's only one word for Quick's performance this series: fantastic. The defending Conn Smythe winner was strong in net yet again Friday night. The only goal Quick allowed was a deflected point shot that went off the leg of Chris Porter. After allowing a couple bad goals in Games 1 and 2, Quick has been as good as he was last year, which is a scary thought for the rest of the Western Conference.

According to Sportsnet's John Shannon, the Winnipeg Jets will host the Edmonton Oilers in an outdoor game next season.

The game will likely take place in late October according to Shannon's report. The Jets have never played in an outdoor game, while the Oilers were the first team to host a Heritage Classic back in 2003.

David Krejci had a goal and an assist in Saturday afternoon's 4-2 win over the Minnesota Wild.

Krejci helped set up Brad Marchand's shorthanded goal in the first period and he scored the go-ahead goal (2-1) in the second frame. The 29-year-old has 13 goals and 42 points in 45 games this season. Loui Eriksson and Zdeno Chara also scored for the B's.

Michael Del Zotto suffered an upper-body injury in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the New Jersey Devils.

The news isn't good for the Flyers and their fans. GM Ron Hextall has already said the injury will keep Del Zotto out long-term. The 25-year-old has four goals and 13 points in 52 games.
Feb 13 - 5:24 PM

Shayne Gostisbehere scored a goal in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the New Jersey Devils.

The 22-year-old now has a point in 11 straight contests, which is a new record for rookie defensemen. Gostisbehere has put together an incredible year since being called up from the minors earlier this season. He has 10 goals and 30 points in 35 games this season. He's worth owning in all fantasy formats.
Feb 13 - 4:20 PM

Artemi Panarin will play in Saturday's game against the Anaheim Ducks.

The rookie missed two games because of an illness, but he'll be ready to go tonight. Fantasy owners should insert him into their starting lineup right away. The 24-year-old has 18 goals and 52 points in 56 games this season.
Feb 13 - 2:19 PM

Ryan McDonagh practiced with his teammates on Saturday, but he was wearing a red non-contact jersey.

Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault said McDonagh looked good on the ice and that he's just days away from being cleared for contact. The Rangers captain has missed three games because of a concussion he suffered against the Flyers last week.
Feb 13 - 2:16 PM

The Los Angeles Kings have placed Marian Gaborik (knee) on injured reserve.

He suffered the injury during Friday's game against the New York Rangers. The 33-year-old is considered day-to-day at this point. He has 12 goals and 22 points in 54 games this season.
Feb 13 - 1:52 PM

Jonas Gustavsson will be between the pipes in Saturday's game against the Minnesota Wild.

Starter Tuukka Rask will get the afternoon off. The 31-year-old has a 9-3-1 record with a 2.58 goals-against-average and a .911 save percentage this season.
Feb 13 - 1:32 PM

Patrice Bergeron won't play in Saturday's tilt against the Minnesota Wild.

It's unclear how he suffered the undisclosed injury, but there's reason to believe he did it when he dropped the gloves with Jets forward Blake Wheeler earlier this week. The 30-year-old is considered day-to-day at this point. It's a big blow for the Bruins. He has 21 goals and 47 points in 54 games. Adjust your fantasy lineups accordingly.
Feb 13 - 1:08 PM

Coach Todd McLellan is splitting up Taylor Hall and Leon Draisaitl, at least for the start of Saturday's game.

Hall was practicing alongside Mark Letestu and Zack Kassian while Draisaitl remained with Teddy Purcell and added Iiro Pakarinen. Hall and Draisaitl were the best duo in the NHL for a time after the November injury to Connor McDavid but lately the pair have really cooled off. Hall has 18 goals and 50 points in 56 games but has not had a point in four games and has been a minus-five.
Feb 13 - 9:29 AM

With his trio of points during Friday's 4-1 win over Calgary, Oliver Ekman-Larsson is now up to 41 points on the year.

It's his third straight season of at least 41 points, and will easily surpass his high of 44 any game now. Ekman-Larrson is also shooting at nearly 10%, putting his career high of 23 goals well within striking distance with eight goals to pass 29 games to work with.
