Despite leading the Penguins in scoring in the first round of the playoffs, Evgeni Malkin isn't satisfied with his start to the NHL's second season.

"I could say it's going good, but (Game 6), like the rest, was probably up and down," Malkin said. "I'm happy to win, but I can do more, play better." He notched nine helpers and 11 points in six contests against the New York Islanders. Malkin's left shoulder may require off-season surgery, so the fact that he's not feeling quite 100 percent may be what's contributing to his negative mindset. He doesn't like the giveaways he's committed either, but fantasy owners are probably pleased with the contributions he's made thus far.

Evgeni Malkin (upper body) won't be in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus Vancouver.

Malkin didn't practice on Tuesday due to an upper-body injury. His status will be re-evaluated before a determination on his availability for the weekend is made.
Nov 21 - 1:13 PM

Ryan McDonagh will sit out Wednesday's game against Carolina because of an abdominal strain.

McDonagh didn't take part in Tuesday's practice because of the injury. A timetable for his return is unclear at this time, so consider him day-to-day for now.
Nov 21 - 12:45 PM

Torey Krug (upper body) won't be back on Wednesday night.

Krug was on the ice Tuesday for practice in a non-contact jersey. Boston's match against New Jersey will be his third consecutive game on the shelf with an upper-body injury.
Nov 21 - 12:37 PM

Brad Marchand (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against New Jersey.

Marchand skated at Tuesday's practice in a non-contact jersey. Wednesday's contest will be his fourth straight on the sidelines with an undisclosed ailment.
Nov 21 - 12:33 PM

Andrew MacDonald (lower body) took part in Monday's practice.

Unfortunately MacDonald won't be available on Tuesday and he doesn't think he'll be able to return on Wednesday either. That's unfortunate for the Flyers given that they're also now missing defenseman Radko Gudas, who received a 10-game suspension. The situation might lead to Mark Alt playing on Tuesday.
Nov 21 - 9:49 AM

Mikael Granlund scored two goals and an assist in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the New Jersey Devils.

Granlund registered the primary assist on Nino Niederreiter's power play goal in the second period before scoring twice in the third frame. The Wild forward has three goals and 12 points in 15 games this season. His point streak has now hit four games (he has seven points during that stretch).

Both goals have come in his last three contests.

Johnny Gaudreau scored a goal and an assist in Monday's 4-1 win over the Washington Capitals.

He managed to extend his point streak to 10 games, which is pretty remarkable. Gaudreau's first-period goal tied the game at one. He also helped set up Sean Monahan's power play tally in the second frame. Gaudreau finished the game with a plus-1 rating and four shots on goal in 18:03 of ice time. He has 10 goals and 21 assists in 20 games this season.

Max Domi scored a goal and an assist in Monday's 4-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Domi helped set up Oliver Ekman-Larsson's power play goal in the second period to give Arizona a 2-1 lead at the time. Domi then added an empty-netter late in the third period to make it 3-1 for his team. The Coyotes forward now has two goals and 10 assists in 23 games this season. Nov 20 - 10:24 PM

Sergei Bobrovsky turned aside 30 of 32 shots in Monday's 3-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

He now has a 12-4-1 record with a 2.02 goals-against-average and a .934 save percentage this season. He continues to be one of the better fantasy players at his position.
