According to a report out of Pittsburgh, Christian Ehrhoff's concussion-like symptoms have returned.

"I had a little bump in the road," Ehrhoff said. "I felt great Wednesday coming back and the next day, too. But I had some symptoms again, and we're being cautious with that. I've been seeing the doctors." It was a relapse of the symptoms Ehrhoff who was sidelined for 13 of the last 14 games for Pittsburgh. Ehrhoff was scheduled to travel with the team Tuesday for the game tonight against Colorado in Denver but that seems unlikely now. We will pass along more information when it comes but be prepared to have him out of the lineup for a little while longer at least.

Henrik Sedin became the third fastest Swedish born NHL player to crack the 900 point mark with two goals in a 5-2 loss to San Jose on Tuesday.

Henrik Sedin has been racking up points during an eight game streak. He has five goals and 13 total points over the stretch for the injury riddled Canucks. Henrik's 44 assists rank third overall in the NHL and his 59 points in 64 games is good for 19th in the league. Brother Daniel picked up two assists in the loss and now has 56 points in his own right this year. It has been a really nice bounce-back year for the Sedins, who some people thought were on the wrong side of their careers after last season's dreadful campaign. Start them in all formats confidently.

Antti Niemi turned aside 26-of-28 shots in 6-2 win over Vancouver on Tuesday.

There has been a lot of talk about Niemi being shipped out of town at the trade deadline or in the offseason but he didn't let any of that bother him on this night. The win broke a three game win-less streak of starts for Niemi. Niemi's 2.64 goals-against-average is below average for number a goalie though that is likely why he will lose starts to the younger Alex Stalock down the stretch.
Mar 4 - 1:22 AM

Matt Nieto scored twice and added an assist in a 6-2 win over San Jose on Tuesday.

The goals were Nieto's fifth and sixth of the season. The 22 year-old is going to be hard pressed to eclipse his 10 goals from his rookie season last year but could with a hot streak. Logan Couture, Marc-Edouard Vlasic, Chris Tierney and Melker Karlsson all got in on the scoring fun in Vancouver. Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau each contributed two assists in a game that was actually closer than the final score indicated.
Mar 4 - 1:08 AM

Anze Kopitar lead the way for the Kings with a goal and two assists in a 5-2 win over Edmonton on Tuesday.

Kopitar was seemingly all over the ice in this game and his two assists were true artistry in hockey fashion. He added five shots and was a plus-three on the evening. He has 48 points in 60 games this season. Trevor Lewis also added a goal and two assists while Drew Doughty had two assists in the blow out win. Jeff Carter scored his team leading 21st goal shorthanded.
Mar 4 - 12:39 AM

Jonathan Quick stopped 21-of-23 shots for the Kings in a 5-2 win over Edmonton on Tuesday.

Quick wasn't overly busy in this one and didn't have to be as the Kings scored five goals in support to help him win his 26th win. The win snapped his personal two game losing streak. He has been a little up and down this year but he still has 26 wins and a solid 2.34 goal-against-average in 54 appearances this year. Start with confidence as he usually gets better as the season grows older.

Roberto Luongo was forced out of Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs due to injury, but later re-entered in the third period after backup Al Montoya also sustained an ailment.

Luongo stopped all 19 shots he faced in his two appearances and he was wearing street clothes just before he returned with his teammates trailing 3-2 in the third period. Considering he was able to come back into the contest, it doesn't appear his injury is all that serious.
Mar 3 - 11:16 PM

Vancouver's backup Jacob Markstrom didn't last eight minutes in his first NHL start of the season against the Sharks as he allowed three goals on four shots.

None of the goals were terrible but Markstrom looked shell shocked and had to get the pull in favor Eddie Lack at the 7:45 mark of the first period. It will probably be a while before Markstrom gets a start again. Markstrom has been lights out in the AHL but this turned out to not be his night in first NHL start in a while.
Mar 3 - 10:32 PM

Alex Ovechkin had another strong night at the office Tuesday as he recorded two goals in a 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Ovechkin's tallies give him 43 on the campaign and extend his lead in the race for the Rocket Richard Trophy. As if that weren't enough production for the fantasy MVP, Ovie also contributed eight shots on goal, a plus-1 rating and a hit. Tom Wilson also added a goal and 17 PIM in the victory while Eric Fehr and Marcus Johansson scored as well.
Mar 3 - 10:27 PM

Karri Ramo turned aside 35 of 37 shots Tuesday night as the Flames outlasted Philadelphia in overtime by a score of 3-2.

Ramo has played exceptionally well of late and has been rewarded with playing time as teammate Jonas Hiller has watched from the bench. Ramo has given up just five goals over his past four starts, a stretch during which he has faced a whopping 131 shots. Now that Mark Giordano has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, it will take heroic performances like this for the Flames to win games.
Mar 3 - 10:09 PM

Henrik Zetterberg (concussion) is questionable for Wednesday's game.

Zetterberg was able to take part in Monday and Tuesday's practices. Even still, Zetterberg's availability won't be determined until after Detroit's skate Wednesday morning. He skated alongside newcomers Erik Cole and Justin Abdelkader.
