Chicago goaltender Corey Crawford insists his confidence is not shaken for Game 5 in the Stanley Cup final tonight even though a weakness may have been exposed in him during Game 4 the other night.

Crawford's glove hand was shaky during his team's 6-5 overtime win in Boston in Game 4. He was beaten five times on 33 shots by the Boston Bruins. "I think it's something you have to learn from," Crawford said. "If that would've happened in junior, I think I would've been pretty deflated, and my confidence would've been pretty low. I think it's something you build over time and something you learn from."It was no secret the Bruins kept shooting glove-side Wednesday, and the 26-year-old deflected the notion he has a weakness that could derail Chicago's championship hopes. Crawford also acknowledged that adjustments might be necessary. Even this late in a run, it's possible that he and goalie coach Stephane Waite fix some mechanics before Crawford goes back in net. "Sometimes you need your goalie coach to look and see," he said. "As a goalie, it's tough sometimes to really know if you're fine. . ."

Carter Hutton stopped all 25 shots he faced in a 3-0 win over the Ottawa Senators.

Hutton got the shutout but you could make an argument he wasn't even deserving a star considering the Senators never forced him into any big saves. He has now won three of his last four starts, allowing five goals across those games and improving his record to 11-4-1 with a 1.79 goals against average and .941 save percentage.

Vladimir Tarasenko scored a goal in a 3-0 win over the Ottawa Senators.

Tarasenko took the puck off the wall and blasted one by Craig Anderson to put the Blues up 2-0 in the third period. He is now up to 21 goals and 46 points in 50 games this season, with four of those goals coming in his last six games. Vladimir Sobotka and Brayden Schenn also scored in the win.
Jan 23 - 10:38 PM

Travis Konecny scored the overtime winner in a 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings.

Konecny made a great play to steal the puck from Dylan Larkin before firing off a great wrist shot passed Petr Mrazek for the win. Konecny has now scored two straight overtime winners, and has goals in three consecutive games. The 20-year-old forward has plenty of offensive upside and is definitely someone to keep an eye on. He is up to eight goals and 20 points in 47 games this season. Andrew Macdonald and Jakub Voracek also scored in the win.
Jan 23 - 10:19 PM

Jonathan Bernier allowed three goals on 39 shots in a 4-2 loss to the Montreal Canadiens.

Bernier came into the night just two wins shy of Patrick Roy's Avalanche franchise record of 11-straight victories but the Canadiens had different plans. Considering how well Bernier is playing, it will be hard for Semyon Varlamov to retake his starting gig once he is healthy. Bernier's record now drops to 14-8-1 with a 2.60 goals against average and a .920 save percentage.
Jan 23 - 10:12 PM

Nathan MacKinnon scored a goal in a 4-2 loss to the Montreal Canadiens.

MacKinnon let go of a wrist shot from the point that Carey Price never saw. MacKinnon was also involved in a very questionable call when he hit Canadiens forward Charles Hudon without the Canadiens' forward ever touching the puck, sending him down the tunnel. MacKinnon was not called for a penalty. Colorado's superstar is now up to 24 goals and 60 points in 47 games this season.
Jan 23 - 10:04 PM

Tuukka Rask stopped 37 of 38 shots in a 3-2 win over the New Jersey Devils.

Rask hasn't suffered a regulation loss since Nov. 26 against the Edmonton Oilers, going 15-0-2 during that stretch. He made several big stops to keep the Bruins ahead tonight and was by far the best player on the ice. The win improves his record to 18-8-4 with a 2.16 goals against average and .923 save percentage.
Jan 23 - 10:00 PM

Brad Marchand scored a goal and picked up an assist in a 3-2 win over the New Jersey Devils.

David Pastrnak made a nice play to get the puck from the boards to Marchand who followed it up with an even better move on Cory Schneider for his 21st of the season. Marchand has seven points in his last three games, bringing his total to 50 in 38 games this season. Riley Nash and Patrice Bergeron also scored in the win.
Jan 23 - 9:55 PM

Casey DeSmith stopped 34 of 35 shots in a 3-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.

DeSmith continued his great run in goal for the Penguins, and has now given up just a total of four goals in his three starts. Many thought Tristan Jarry would be the goalie to own once Matt Murray (personal) was ruled out, but DeSmith has made the crease his own in Pittsburgh and should definitely be picked up if you need goaltending help. DeSmith's record improves to 2-2-0 with a 1.86 goals against average and .936 save percentage.
Jan 23 - 9:50 PM

Jean-Sebastien Dea scored a goal in a 3-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.

Dea took a beautiful backhanded feed from Bryan Rust on a two-on-one to put the Penguins up midway through the second period. It's Dea's first career NHL goal and point in four career games. He has some upside but should not be owned in any formats. Dominik Simon and Jake Guentzel also scored in the win.

James Reimer appeared to suffer a lower-body injury in Tuesday's game against the Dallas Stars.

Reimer appears to have tweaked his groin while trying to make a save. He was able to skate off the ice on his power, but he was clearly in some discomfort. Harri Sateri is now between the pipes for the Panthers.
Jan 23 - 9:30 PM

Cory Schneider suffered a lower-body injury in Tuesday's game against the Boston Bruins.

Schneider seemed to hurt himself just as Patrice Bergeron scored the tying goal (2-2) for the Bruins. Ken Appleby is now between the pipes for the Devils. The team will probably provide an update on Schneider's status after the game. Losing him for an extended period of time would be a huge blow.
