Dave Bolland is reportedly available on the trade market.

According to insiders, Bob McKenzie and Pierre LeBrun, the Blackhawks are shopping Bolland. Bolland netted the game-winning goal in Game 6 to help Chicago win the Stanley Cup. The Hawks are probably trying to move salary to retain potential unrestricted free agent Bryan Bickell and they do have Andrew Shaw ready to assume more responsibilities at center.

According to an NHL source, Dion Phaneuf was absent from practice Monday due to a hand injury and he's expected to be out a while.

Phaneuf logged 15:22 of ice time against Ottawa last Wednesday. This is pure speculation, but there's a chance that the injury may have occurred during his fight with Milan Michalek.

Kevin Bieksa will be sidelined for six-to-eight weeks after he underwent hand surgery.

He sustained a broken hand just before the All-Star break. Bieksa has nine points, 74 hits, 75 blocks and 63 penalty minutes in 45 games this campaign.

Updating an earlier item, Kyle Okposo is projected to miss six-to-eight weeks with an upper-body injury.

That's a tough blow for the Islanders, as Okposo is the second on the team with 44 points in 46 games. He's formed an excellent tandem with John Tavares this season. Ryan Strome could be a candidate to replace Okposo on the top line.

Los Angeles has placed Mike Richards on waivers.

According to reports, the Kings had been trying to move Richards, but they were unsuccessful in their attempts. He has $5.75 million cap hit until 2019-2020 season and he's earning $7 million this year.

Sergei Bobrovsky is expected to be out of action for four-to-six weeks with a groin injury.

The Blue Jackets placed him on injured reserve retroactive to January 21. Anton Forsberg has been recalled from the minors to take his spot on the roster.

John Tavares scored four goals in Team Toews' 17-12 win over Team Foligno in Sunday's NHL All-Star game.

The four goals tie an NHL All-Star game record which he now shares with five others. The 17 goals scored by Team Toews and the 29 goals combined are both All-Star game records. Flyers' forward Jakub Voracek led all skaters with six points, while Jonathan Toews (Blackhawks) and Patrice Bergeron (Bruins) had five points each.
Jan 25 - 8:24 PM

Ryan Johansen was named the MVP in Sunday's NHL All-Star game.

Johansen and Team Foligno lost, 17-12. The Blue Jackets' forward had two goals and one assist in the game. Islanders' forward John Tavares (four goals) probably deserved the MVP award, but the event was in Columbus, and the fans on Twitter had the final say. Only Anze Kopitar (Kings) and Zemgus Girgensons (Sabres) were held pointless in the game. Steven Stamkos (Lightning), Patrick Kane (Blackhawks), Claude Giroux (Flyers) and Alex Ovechkin (Capitals) also had three points each for Team Foligno.
Jan 25 - 8:12 PM

Carey Price will get the start for Team Foligno in Sunday's All-Star game.

Price will go head-to-head with Roberto Luongo in the first period. After Price, Penguins' goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury will play for Team Toews' in the second period, and Brian Elliot will be between the pipes in the third.
Jan 25 - 3:39 PM

There's a good chance Roberto Luongo will be Team Toews' starting goaltender in Sunday's All-Star game.

The New York Rangers' senior Vice President of Public Relations and Player Recruitment John Rosasco tweeted a photo of Team Toews' depth chart and it had Luongo on top. If we go by that list, Corey Crawford will play the second period, while Jaroslav Halak will get the call in the third frame.

Michael Arace of the Columbus Dispatch reports that Sergei Bobrovsky will miss at least a month of action with a groin injury.

Bobrovsky was all set to play in net in the All-Star game which is being played in Columbus, so that was a big blow as well. He had flown in his father from Siberia to watch the All-Star festivities, only to pick up the injury to the right side of his groin. "It is sad, really sad," Bobrovsky said with a wilting voice. "I wanted to play in front of my fans, with my teammates (Ryan Johansen and Foligno). It’s the first time (as an) All-Star for me. It was the first time for my city. It was so special, and I am so disappointed right now."
Jan 25 - 7:23 AM

Tyler Johnson (lower body) will not play in Sunday’s All-Star Game, according to ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun.

Unlike players who dropped out last-minute because of injuries and never came to the event, Johnson will be eligible to play in the Lightning’s first game after the break because he is in Columbus. Tampa Bay visits the Hurricanes on Jan. 27. Johnson has 17 goals and 48 points this season. It’s unclear if the NHL will allow rookie Mike Hoffman to participate in the game so that Team Toews fields a complete lineup.
