Michael Sauer (concussion) was not given a qualifying offer from the New York Rangers.

He has not played since suffering a concussion on Dec. 5, 2011 following a hard hit from Toronto's Dion Phaneuf. His status for next season is questionable, so he probably won't get any takers as an unrestricted free agent until he's back to 100 percent.

Roberto Luongo's upper-body injury is reportedly not serious.

That's very good new for the Panthers and for fantasy owners. Luongo has been excellent this season in Florida, while sporting a .927 save percentage and a 2.33 goals-against average. He picked up his seventh win of the year on Wednesday night even though he left in the second period due to injury. He isn't expected to miss much time.

Sidney Crosby has reached the 800-point milestone.

Crosby accomplished that feat in just 571 contests. Only five players in the history of the NHL got to that milestone faster, with Wayne Gretzky naturally leading the pack at 352 games. Crosby's next big milestone will be 300 goals, which he's just 17 shy of reaching.

Karri Ramo stopped all 32 shots fired his way on Wednesday in the Flames 2-0 win over San Jose.

It was an impressive performance from the whole team as the Flames earned a win in the second night of a back-to-back situation on the road against a rested Sharks side. Ramo has now earned wins in three straight starts and carries a 5-2-1 record to go with a 2.54 GGA and .911 save percentage into this next start which is probably going to come sooner rather than later. Ramo continues to earn starts despite the good play of Jonas Hiller.
Nov 27 - 1:33 AM

Jiri Hudler scored the game winning goal and added an empty-netter in the Flames’ 2-0 shutout of San Jose on Wednesday.

Hudler took a nifty backhand pass from T.J. Brodie in the slot and snapped it by Antti Niemi for what turned out to be the game-winner. He now has four goals in three games to total ten on the year. The 30 year-old is enjoying his second campaign with the Flames with a somewhat surprising 20 points in 23 games.
Nov 27 - 1:30 AM

Patrick Kane handed out three assists in the Blackhawks 3-2 win over Colorado on Wednesday.

Kane was magic all night long in facilitating all of the Blackhawk goals for his fourth multi-point effort in the last five games. The Hawks superstar is officially on fire with 11 points in his last six games. Jonathan Toews, Bryan Bickell and Andrew Shaw were all benefactors with goals thanks to Kane’s outstanding play.
Nov 27 - 12:12 AM

Blake Comeau scored a hat trick in Pittsburgh's 4-3 overtime win over Toronto.

Comeau scored a goal in the first, second and overtime periods to lead the Penguins to victory. With the long-term injury to Pascal Dupuis, Comeau has had the opportunity to play a bigger role with the club. The 28-year-old now has eight goals and 13 points in 20 games this season. He could be a sneaky add if he keeps playing on Pittsburgh's top two lines.

Roberto Luongo stopped all 11 shots he faced but was also injured in Florida's 1-0 win over Carolina.

Luongo left the game with an undisclosed injury after making a great glove save on Victor Rask. Al Montoya entered the game and made 22 saves to complete the shutout. We will continue to update you on Luongo's injury. He should be considered day-to-day right now.
Nov 26 - 11:18 PM

Steve Stamkos scored a goal and two assists in Tampa Bay's 4-3 win over the Rangers on Wednesday night.

Stamkos has now registered a point in nine of his last 10 games. The 24-year-old sniper now has 15 goals and 27 points in 23 games. He's on pace to score 53 goals this season, and if stays healthy, it shouldn't surprise anyone if he surpasses that number. Ryan Callahan (twice) and Nikita Kucherov also scored for the Lightning.
Nov 26 - 10:57 PM

Rick Nash scored a goal and an assist in the Rangers' 4-3 loss to Tampa Bay.

Nash picked up an assist on Mats Zuccarello's first period goal and he added his own to cut Tampa's lead to 4-3 in the third. The 30-year-old is having a big bounce-back season this year. Nash has 15 goals and 23 points in 21 games this season. He is currently on pace to score 59 goals this season. He probably won't reach that number, but if he stays healthy, there's an outside chance he could score 50.
Nov 26 - 10:53 PM

Claude Giroux scored a goal and an assist in Philadelphia's 5-2 loss to Detroit on Wednesday.

His second period goal tied the game at one, but it was all downhill from there for Philadelphia. The 26-year-old has been solid this season. Giroux now has seven goals and 19 assists in 21 games this season. The Flyers are in a major slump. They have now lost six of their last seven games.
