The future Hall of Famer will turn 42 years of age in February. Jagr signed a one-year deal with New Jersey after splitting time between Dallas and Boston last season.

Slava Voynov has been suspended indefinitely by the NHL.

Voynov was arrested this morning on charges of domestic violence. The NHL is conducting an investigation into the matter. Rick Nash scored his league-leading seventh goal of the season in New York’s 4-0 win over the San Jose Sharks on Sunday.

Nash scored late in the second period to make it 3-0 for the Rangers. It’s nice to see that his concussion issues are behind him. The 30-year-old was limited to 65 games last season. Nash now has eight points in six games. He’s back to being one of the better snipers in the league. Carl Hagelin, Martin St. Louis and Kevin Hayes also scored for the Rangers.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped all 33 shots he faced in New York’s 4-0 win over the San Jose Sharks on Sunday.

After allowing six goals in back-to-back games, Lundqvist has now allowed just one goal in his last two starts. Despite the slow start, the Rangers goaltender should still be considered an elite goalie in the NHL.

Ryan Suter registered an assist and played a game-high 32:50 in Minnesota’s 2-1 loss to Los Angeles on Sunday.

32:50 is a season-high for Suter. The 29-year-old got an assist on Matt Cooke’s third period goal. Even though Minnesota has struggled to score of late, Suter is having himself a very good season. According to Tampa Bay head coach Jon Cooper, Victor Hedman (hand) could miss significant time.

Hedman suffered the hand injury blocking a shot in Saturday's win in Vancouver. "It’s unfortunate, clearly,’’ Cooper said. "We are going to test our depth, and it puts more pressure on the D corps as a whole, and we played two-thirds of the game (Saturday) without him and I thought our guys stood pretty strong. But you feel for Heddy, he’s coming out of gates so strong and just building on the season he had last year and now it looks like he might be sidelined here for a little bit." Losing Hedman is a huge blow for the Lightning. The 23-year-old has seven points in five games this season.
