Darren Helm tweaked his groin Friday during his preparations for training camp.

He missed 47 games last season with back issues and just when he was working his way back from that another ailment comes up. Helm can't seem to catch a break. "It is almost kind of comical the way these things keep happening," Helm said. "I came off, I wasn't too happy. But it wasn't my back, so I'm not too upset about it. I don't think this is going to be too long." An MRI revealed that his groin injury is just a small strain, but it will probably shelve him for the beginning of the exhibition schedule. Helm is making good progress where his back is concerned, but it's still unclear if he'll be ready for the start of the season.
