He didn't take to the ice Thursday at Florida's training camp as a result. Coach Kevin Dineen said the team is following the league's protocol when it comes to head injuries. Bjugstad was expected to be in the mix for a roster spot, but he may miss that chance now due to injury.

Henrik Lundqvist will be back between the pipes on Saturday at Boston or Sunday against the Washington Capitals.

"I think we'll have a discussion tomorrow, I'll see how it feels," Lundqvist said Thursday. "It's hard to say no to a game right now when you've been away for that long at the same you have to be smart about it. But I feel pretty close to being ready. We'll have that discussion tomorrow and we'll decide what game." He will dress as Cam Talbot's backup on Thursday night.

He didn't play on Tuesday night because of a lower-body injury, but he's ready to return. Kronwall has eight goals and 40 points in 71 games this campaign. He leads the team in average ice time per game at 23:45.

Mike Ribeiro is tied with Detroit's Tomas Tatar for first in the NHL in shot attempts at 5-on-5 among all forwards.

He has been on the ice for 1,252 even-strength shot attempts for the Predators and 955 against them for a plus-297 differential. Ribeiro has a simple explanation for that success. "The players that I've been playing with, elite players that like to shoot," he said. "I like to pass the puck. I tell those guys, 'Once I give it to you, you need to find a way to shoot it.' I used to tell (Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin), 'As soon as you cross the blue line, if I give you the puck, I want you to shoot the puck.' Same here (in Nashville)." Ribeiro has recorded 43 assists and 56 points in 74 games this campaign.

Jared Boll has been suspended for three games for an illegal check to the head.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at the 4:02 mark of the second period when Boll delivered a high hit to Anaheim's Patrick Maroon. He didn't receive a penalty on the play, but got into a fight with Ducks defenseman Clayton Stoner shortly afterward. Boll won't be eligible to return until Thursday, April 2 against the Islanders.

Pavel Datsyuk won't return from a lower-body injury on Thursday.

He said he's feeling better and he hopes to be back in the lineup on Saturday when Detroit plays Tampa Bay. Thursday's game will be the fifth straight match he has missed.

Andrew MacDonald is out for the rest of the season after fracturing his right hand in 4-1 win over Chicago on Wednesday.

It was first reported as a upper-body injury but Comcast Sportsnet Philadelphia reported that it was a fractured right hand. MacDonald has appeared in 58 of 75 games for the Flyers, recording two goals and 10 assists for 12 points while averaging exactly 20 minutes of ice-time per-game.

Wayne Simmonds fractured his left leg in the Flyers 4-1 win over Chicago on Wednesday and will be out for the rest of the season.

The Flyers official website broke the news that he and Andrew MacDonald were going to be out for the remainder of the season. Comcast Sportsnet Philadelphia later reported that Simmonds fractured his left leg while McDonald has a fractured right hand. Simmonds' 28 goals leads the Flyers as does his 14 power-play goals, which also ranks third overall in the NHL. He also has 22 assists for a total of 50 points, having appeared in all 75 games for the Flyers this season.
