Ryane Clowe (concussion symptoms) tried an off-ice workout on Saturday.

Clowe has not played since October 13 when he suffered what may have been his fourth concussion in less than a year as he took an elbow to the head from the Jets Jacob Trouba. He is not close to returning to the ice at this time so consider him out indefinitely at this point.

Philipp Grubauer will be in goal Monday afternoon against Buffalo.

Grubauer will get the first half of Washington's back-to-back situation. He has posted a 5-7-3 record this season with a 2.65 goals-against average and .914 save percentage.

Foligno didn't finish Sunday's game against Pittsburgh due to the ailment. He has 13 goals and 26 points in 59 appearances this campaign.

Lehner won't be available for Monday's game against Washington, so Linus Ullmark has been recalled from the minors.

Brent Burns left Sunday's game with an undisclosed injury in the third period and did not return.

Burns left Saturday's practice early with the same ailment so consider him day-to-day for now. He has 10 goals and 50 points in 59 games but is a minus-19. The loss will be big for the Sharks if he is out for any length of time as they are already missing Joe Thornton from his lineup.

Thomas Greiss is day-to-day with a lower body injury.

Greiss was injured during Friday's 45-save shutout win over Carolina. "He’s pretty good," coach Doug Weight said of Greiss. "We are going to do some evaluating and make a final ruling here moving forward. We’re prepared for anything. Obviously, Bridgeport [the Islanders’ minor-league affiliate] is close, so if we need to do something for [Monday], we’ll be fine." Greiss is 11-7-2 this season with a 3.84 GAA and a .892 save percentage.

Henrik Lundqvist has been horrible over his last 11 starts in goal.

Lundqvist has been pulled four times in the 11 games and should have been pulled again on Sunday as he gave up seven goals on 37 shots. Over the last 11 games, Lundqvist has a 4.46 GAA and a .873 save percentage. "I have to be better," said Lundqvist. No kidding.

Mathieu Perreault notched a goal and two assists to lead the Jets to a big win over Florida.

Perreault's three points helped Winnipeg blowout Florida by a score of 7-2. The 30-year-old now has 16 goals and 37 points through 47 games this season. Blake Wheeler and Tyler Myers recorded three assists apiece in Sunday's win.

Joe Pavelski notched a goal and two assists to lead the Sharks to a 5-2 victory over Dallas on Sunday night.

Pavelski led his team to an early lead, helping the Sharks earn retribution for a 6-0 loss to the Stars on New Year's Eve. Pavelski now has 15 goals and 45 points in 59 games this season.

Auston Matthews scored the game winner with just 30.2 seconds remaining in regulation to give Toronto a 3-2 win over Detroit on Sunday.

The 20-year-old rocketed a wrister into the top shelf late in the game to secure the Leafs a victory. Matthews now has 27 goals this season, 25 of which have been scored at even strength. He has 49 points in 51 games altogether.

Taylor Hall rescued the Devils on Sunday with the overtime winner in a 3-2 win over Carolina.

The Hurricanes tied up the game at 2-2 late in the third period, but Hall grabbed the extra point for New Jersey with his overtime heroics. The 26-year-old has been unstoppable lately, with at least one point in each of his last 18 games. Hall is riding an 11-game point streak since his return from a thumb injury. He is up to 24 goals and 62 points in 54 games this season.
