Johnny Gaudreau picked up a goal and two assists in a 6-4 loss to the Dallas Stars.

Gaudreau and Monahan combined well all night, with the latter contributing two goals and an assist of his own. In fact, the trio of Gaudreau, Monahan and Ferland is currently in the conversation as one of the best in the NHL. Pekka Rinne stopped all 34 shots he faced in Friday's 2-0 win over the St. Louis Blues.

His 45th career shutout moved him ahead of Mikka Kiprusoff for most shutouts by a Finnish goaltender in NHL history. Rinne has a 13-3-2 record with a 2.31 goals-against-average and a .927 save percentage this season. The Predators goaltender has now won four games in a row.

Ryan Johansen scored a goal and an assist in Friday's 2-0 win over the St. Louis Blues.

Johansen opened the scoring at the 2:32 mark of the first period. That was the only goal of the game until Austin Watson buried an empty-netter in the final minute of regulation. Johansen has three goals and 16 points in 22 games this season. All three goals have come in his last five games. He also has eight points during that stretch.

Anze Kopitar scored a goal in a 3-2 loss to the Arizona Coyotes.

Gaborik sent a perfect feed to Kopitar who simply redirected the puck passed Wedgewood for his 10th goal of the season. After a disappointing 2016-17 season, Kopitar has turned it on offensively. He's currently sitting at 25 points in 23 games and has a realistic shot to surpass his career high of 81 points established during the 2009-10 season.

James van Riemsdyk scored a goal and an assist in Friday's 5-4 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.

JVR did all of his damage during Toronto's four-goal second period, as he helped set up Ron Hainsey's (3-0) before adding one of his own (4-1). The Leafs forward finished the game with a minus-1 rating and two shots on goal in 13:27 of ice time. Van Riemsdyk has 12 goals and 19 points in 23 games. Eight of those points have come in his last seven contests.

Okposo registered the primary assist on Jacob Josefson's second-period goal. He then added an empty-netter in the final minute of regulation. Okposo finished the game with a plus-2 rating, two penalty minutes and three shots on goal in 17:39 of ice time. The Sabres forward now has three goals and eight assists in 21 games this season.

Cam Atkinson scored a pair of goals in Friday's 5-2 win over the Ottawa Senators.

He managed to snap an eight-game goalless drought in the process. These were also his first two goals he scored since signing his seven-year contract extension last week. Atkinson's first goal tied the game at one at the 11:22 mark of the first period, while his second tally of the night proved to be the game-winner (it gave the Jackets a 3-2 lead at the time). Atkinson finished the game with a plus-3 rating, two penalty minutes and two shots on goal in 18:20 of ice time. The Blue Jackets forward now has six goals and three assists in 19 games this season. Hopefully for fantasy owners this performance helps turn his year around.

Brent Burns finally found the back of the net in Friday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Sharks were down 4-1 in the second period when they got three straight goals from Burns, Chris Tierney and Mikkel Boedker to tie the game. The goal was the first of the season for Burns, who has been a major disappointment from a fantasy perspective. Burns finished the game with a minus-1 rating, two shots on goal and one hit in 24:14 of ice time. He has nine points in 21 games this season.

Jonathan Marchessault scored a goal and two assists in Friday's 5-4 overtime win over the San Jose Sharks.

Marchessault helped set up James Neal's power play goal in the first period that gave the Golden Knights a 2-0 lead at the time. He also registered an assist on William Karlsson's second goal of the game. Marchessault played the hero in overtime, as he gave Vegas the win by scoring 1:21 into the extra frame. He now has six points in his last two games and eight points in his last four. The 26-year-old is up to seven goals and 18 points in 18 games this season.
