Tuukka Rask left midway through Sunday's match against the Penguins because he wasn't feeling well.

The all-world netminder had stopped 20 of 22 shots and was losing 2-0 at the time of his departure. He was replaced by Zane McIntyre. Rask is considered day-to-day, for now.

Henrik Lundqvist picked up his second shutout of the season as the Rangers beat the Red Wings 1-0 in overtime on Sunday.

The King was a perfect 21 for 21, including the two shots asked of him while on special teams. He improves to 20-12-1 on the season and is now up to 61 career shutouts.

Patrik Laine (concussion) won't play in Monday's match with the Ducks.

Laine noted that he feels he needs more practice time before returning to action. The Jets will host the Sharks on Tuesday before finishing up in Chicago on Thursday prior to the All-Star break.

Jared Coreau will start Sunday afternoon's game against the Rangers.

He was pulled against Boston on Wednesday and will look to bounce back versus New York. Coreau has a 5-1-1 record with a 3.04 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage this season.

John Tavares scored a power play goal Saturday in a 4-2 win over the Kings.

Tavares has been white-hot of late with eight goals in his last five games. He chipped in with an assist as well Saturday and it was his first helper in the five games. Tavares is up to 19 goals and 36 points this season and is a must-start in pools.

Jordan Eberle continues to put a slump behind him, most emphatically doing so on Saturday with a four-point output in the Edmonton Oilers' 7-3 win against the Calgary Flames.

He generated two goals and two assists in this one, managing a +2 rating and six SOG in just 15:39 TOI. Eberle now has six points in his last four games to give him 32 on the season.
Jan 22 - 2:23 AM

Edmonton Oilers goalie Laurent Brossoit got his first career NHL win, and it happened against the team he drafted him, as Edmonton defeated the Calgary Flames 7-3 on Saturday.

While Brossoit obviously received some hefty goal support, it was still a busy night, as he stopped 38 of 41 shots. He came into Saturday with a 0-5-1 record at this level. The 23-year-old generated respectable AHL numbers, although he actually struggled a bit this season, only managing a .908 save percentage with a 9-8-0 record for Bakersfield.
Jan 22 - 2:20 AM

John Gibson left Saturday's eventual 5-3 loss for the Anaheim Ducks vs. the Minnesota Wild when a puck caught him up high early in the first period.

The Ducks don't have much of an update yet, merely deeming it an upper-body injury. Things didn't go well for Jonathan Bernier in Gibson's absence, so keep an eye out for transactions if Gibson can't play for some time. He's been solid in 2016-17, going 19-10-8 with a .921 save percentage, 2.27 GAA and three shutouts.
Jan 22 - 2:16 AM

Jonathan Bernier probably can't expect to get much benefit of the doubt after nights like Saturday, when he had a rough go of things as the Minnesota Wild beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-3.

Bernier made it through 45:38 of game time, allowing four goals on just 20 SOG a week after he generated a 26-save shutout. Gibson allowed a goal on five SOG and may have suffered an injury against the Wild.
Jan 22 - 2:11 AM

Philipp Grubauer made 32 saves on 35 shots Saturday night to life the Capitals to a 4-3 win over the Stars.

Grubauer did not get off to a strong start as the Stars outshot the Caps 25 to 13 in the first two periods. He gave up one goal on 15 shots in the first and two on 10 shots in the second, but settled down once his teammates began to score in the third. Grubauer faced another 10 shots in that period, but was perfect and sent the game into overtime. Jay Beagle scored the game winner 19 seconds into the extra period, so Grubauer did not have to face another shot. Grubauer now has a record of 9-1-2 with a save percentage of .925.
