Tyler Johnson netted the game-winning goal in Tampa Bay's 3-1 victory against Montreal on Tuesday.

His 23rd marker of the year tied him with Steve Stamkos for most by a rookie in the franchise's history. It also came shorthanded which ties Boston's Brad Marchand for the most in the league, at five apiece. Johnson has 48 points in 76 games this season, which ranks him third among rookies in scoring.

Blues goaltender Brian Elliott left Tuesday's game against the Senators due to a lower-body injury and will not return.

It's not yet known how severe the injury is, but an extended absence for Elliott could be a big blow for the Blues. He has been replaced in this game by Jake Allen, who is nursing the 2-0 lead he inherited.

Evander Kane registered a pair of goals Tuesday in a 4-2 win over Columbus.

Kane's offense hasn't shown up much this season, but two power play tallies and four penalty minutes will please his fantasy owners greatly. Andrew Ladd and Bryan Little also found the back of the net for Winnipeg while Jacob Trouba and Blake Wheeler dished out two assists apiece in the win.
Nov 25 - 9:54 PM

Alex Tanguay (face) will not be available to play on Tuesday after all.

Tanguay was initially projected to return, but he's still experiencing pain and his vision is blurred. If there's a silver lining, it's that he took part in Tuesday's morning skate. This will be his second straight game on the sidelines.

To the surprise of no one, Sidney Crosby has more all-star votes than any other forward so far.

Crosby is one of the league's most popular players and is off to a great start with nine goals and 29 points in 20 games this season, so his place atop the list is to be expected. With 87,858 votes, Crosby is beating Chicago Blackhawks forwards Patrick Kane (73,551) and Jonathan Toews (71,734). Jakub Voracek is deserving of more attention than he's gotten though as he has just 27,826 votes despite being tied with Crosby at 29 points in 20 contests.

P.K. Subban has received more All-Star votes than any other player so far.

With 100,133 votes, Subban is cruising to first place among defensemen. Duncan Keith (66,723) and Kris Letang (51,052) occupy the second and third spots respectively. Subban is a Norris Trophy winner as well as a great offensive threat, although Mark Giordano deserves more love after recording 23 points in 22 games. Workhorses Drew Doughty (28:58 minutes per game) and Ryan Suter (29:13 minutes per game) are arguably deserving of more votes as well. Of the players mentioned, Suter is the worst off with just 19,270 votes so far.

Martin Jones will probably play between the pipes on Tuesday.

Jones was the first goaltender off the ice Tuesday morning, which is usually a good indicator of who the starter will be. He has a 1.83 GAA and .928 save percentage in four contests this season.
Nov 25 - 1:16 PM

Robin Lehner will start for Ottawa on Tuesday.

Lehner will be going for his second win in three starts. He has a 2.85 GAA and .916 save percentage in eight games this season. The Senators have high hopes for Lehner in the long run, but so far Craig Anderson has outplayed him in 2014-15.
