Sidney Crosby ended his 11-game goalless drought in a 5-4 overtime victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night.

Crosby hadn't scored a goal since Oct. 20 against the Florida Panthers. He snapped his cold streak, the second-longest of his career, in the second period of the win over Buffalo. Crosby even picked up an assist on Conor Sheary's overtime winner. The superstar now has six goals and 15 points this season.

Auston Matthews scored twice for the Toronto Maple Leafs in a 6-0 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday.

In Matthews's first game back from injury, he didn't disappoint. The American scored twice for the Leafs in their defeat of the Canadiens, giving him 12 goals and 21 points in 17 games played this year.

Craig Smith picked up a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche.

Varlamov left a juicy rebound off a P.K. Subban blast from the point and Craig Smith was in the perfect spot to bury his seventh goal of the season. After a slow start to the season, Smith has now picked up eight points in his last 10 games. The 28-year-old forward has a total of 10 points in 19 games and is definitely worth picking up off the waiver wire considering he is on the first power play unit and is currently playing on a line with Kyle Turris and Kevin Fiala.

Evander Kane scored the Buffalo Sabres' lone goal in a 3-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night.

Kane had a four-game points streak snapped on Friday, but he returned to the scoresheet Saturday with a goal. Albeit in a losing effort, Kane's goal was his sixth point in six games. The forward, who may be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, now has 11 goals and 19 points in 20 games this season.

Evgeny Kuznetsov picked up a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday.

Ovechkin's pass took a couple of deflections before finding its way right to Kuznetsov who buried his fifth goal of the season. With Nicklas Backstorm struggling to pick up points, Kuznetsov has really elevated his offensive game. The 25-year-old Russian now has 23 points in 21 games this season. He'll most likely finish the season eclipsing his career high of 77 points established during the 2015-16 season.

Alex DeBrincat extended his points streak to four games after picking up an assist in a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night.

Alex DeBrincat's scoring streak began Nov. 11 with a three-point night against the Carolina Hurricanes. He kept it going on Saturda, assisting on Gustav Forsling's opener in the first period. In DeBrincat's last four games, the rookie has four goals and six points in that span.

John Tavares registered an empty-net goal and two assists in a 5-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday night.

Tavares recorded his seventh multi-point night of the season and played a huge part in New York's win Saturday. He assisted on the Islanders' first two goals before icing the game with an empty netter. The team captain now has 14 goals and 22 points in 19 games played this year.

The Colorado Avalanche have confirmed that Tyson Barrie will be back in the lineup tonight against the Nashville Predators.

Barrie missed Thursday's game against the Capitals with an upper-body injury. Chris Bigras will sit in the press box in his place. Barrie has 14 points in 16 games so far this season and should be inserted in every fantasy lineup. Gabriel Bourque is also expected to sit.

Anthony Duclair's hat trick led the Arizona Coyotes to a 3-2 overtime victory against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.

Duclair had a rough sophomore campaign in 2016-17 and while this season has been better in some ways, it's been far from ideal. In fact, he was a healthy scratch on Tuesday and that was far from the first time he had been relegated to the press box. Perhaps a game like this one could be something of a turning point for him. Oliver Ekman-Larsson assisted on two of Duclair's goals. Alex Goligoski, Jason Demers, and Derek Stepan each registered an assist.

Sean Monahan had a hat trick and registered an assist in Calgary's 5-4 overtime win against Philadelphia Saturday afternoon.

All three of Monahan's goals came in the second period and allowed the Flames to overcome the 3-1 deficit they faced after 20 minutes. He now has 11 goals and 20 points in 17 games this season. Johnny Gaudreau came up big too with a goal and two assists, extending his point streak to nine games in the process. Michael Frolik netted the overtime winner. Kris Versteeg and T.J. Brodie each assisted on two of Calgary's five goals.

Max Pacioretty (flu) will play in Saturday's game against Toronto.

Pacioretty missed Friday's practice, but he'll be ready to go for tonight's game against the Maple Leafs. The Canadiens captain has seven goals and five assists in 20 games this season. Jonathan Drouin and Jordie Benn (both missed practice because of an illness) will also play on Saturday night.
