Atkinson opened the scoring with a power-play marker at the 1:29 mark of the second period and he also registered the primary assist on Pierre-Luc Dubois' go-ahead goal at the midway point of the third frame. Atkinson finished the night with a plus-1 rating, four shots on goal and one blocked shot in 19:51 of ice time. After going five games without a point, Atkinson has now accumulated three in his last two games. He's up to eight goals and 14 points in 17 games this season. Sebastian Aho scored a goal and an assist in Monday's 3-2 overtime win over the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Hurricanes found themselves down 2-0 in the second period, but that's when Aho helped set up a power-play goal by Teuvo Teravainen. Micheal Ferland then added a goal on the man-advantage just over one minute later to tie the game at two. Aho then added the game-winner at the 1:16 mark of overtime to give his team the win. Aho finished the night with a plus-1 rating, five shots on goal and three hits in 16:26 of ice time. With the score tied at one in the third frame, Howden managed to whip a shot past Canucks goalie Jacob Markstrom. The 20-year-old is putting together a strong rookie season, as he's already accumulated four goals and 10 points in 17 contests. Howden isn't worth owning in standard fantasy leagues, but he definitely has a bright future ahead of him. Filip Chytil also scored for the Rangers in the win.
