Tyson Jost will play on Colorado's first line during Thursday's game against the Blue Jackets.

Jost will skate with Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen, which should give him a significant fantasy boost for at least one night. The 19-year-old has seven goals and 17 points in 49 games this season.

Anders Nilsson will be between the pipes Tuesday night against Tampa Bay.

Nilsson was in goal for a win versus the Lightning back on Oct. 11, but he has gone winless in his past seven outings (0-6-1). He owns a 3-6-1 record this season with a 2.91 goals-against average and .901 save percentage.
Dec 18 - 2:30 PM

Brock Nelson (lower body) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday night.

Nelson did not skate Tuesday morning after he left Monday's game with a lower-body injury.
Dec 18 - 2:22 PM

Taylor Hall (lower body) declared himself good to go after Tuesday's morning skate.

Hall missed two games because of a lower-body injury. He was back on the top line during the morning skate and he took power-play reps.
Dec 18 - 1:55 PM

Cam Talbot will be between the pipes for Tuesday's game against St. Louis.

Talbot will look to bounce back after he surrendered five goals on 40 shots to Winnipeg in a 5-4 OT loss last Thursday. He has gone 7-9-2 this season with a 3.22 goals-against average and .894 save percentage.
Dec 18 - 12:48 PM

Chicago has loaned Henri Jokiharju to Team Finland for the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship.

The tournament will run from Dec. 26, 2018 to Jan. 5, 2019. Jokiharju had two goals and two assists in five games at the World Junior Championship last year. In 32 matches this season for Chicago, he has contributed 11 assists.
Dec 18 - 11:45 AM

Carter Hart will start Tuesday night against Detroit.

Hart will make his NHL debut after he was brought up from the minors on Monday. He is already the sixth different goalie to play this season for the Flyers. The 2002-03 St. Louis Blues were the only other team to use six goalies before Christmas.
Dec 18 - 11:18 AM

Drake Batherson has been assigned to the minors.

Batherson only logged 9:24 of ice time in Monday's 4-3 OT win over Nashville. He picked up an assist in the contest for his eighth point in 17 NHL games. The helper ended an eight-game pointless skid for the 20-year-old forward. Batherson started hot with the Senators, but he cooled off significantly afterward.
Dec 18 - 11:11 AM

Thomas Greiss made 30 saves in a 4-1 win against the Avalanche on Monday night.

He conceded only a goal to the Avs’ captain in the second period, but the Isles’ already had established a two goal lead at that point. The win marks the 32-year old’s third consecutive win in as many starts. The win improves Greiss’ record to 12-6-1 in 2018-19 and is accompanied with a 2.50 GAA, .919 save percentage and one shutout.
Dec 17 - 11:51 PM

Anders Lee recorded a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win against the Avalanche on Monday night.

The goal scored in the second period was his 12th of the season and restored the Isles’ two goal lead. Meanwhile, he collected an assist on Eberle’s opening goal in the first frame. With tonight’s production, Lee has amassed 12 goals and 25 points in 32 games this season. Given his sustained production over the last few seasons, it is surprising that the 28-year old is owned in only 67% of fantasy leagues.
Dec 17 - 11:46 PM

Thomas Chabot scored the game-winner during Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Nashville Predators.

The Senators built up a 3-0 lead in the first period thanks to goals by Maxime Lajoie, Brady Tkachuk and Ryan Dzingel. The Predators managed to score the next three goals to force overtime, but Chabot ended the game 21 seconds into the extra frame. The 21-year-old now has 10 goals and 36 points in 35 games this season. He's been the top offensive defender in the league in 2018-19.
Dec 17 - 10:27 PM

David Pastrnak picked up a pair of assists in Monday’s 4-0 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

The Bruins played a perfect road game in Montreal, as they limited the Habs’ quality scoring chances. Pastrnak helped set up Colby Cave’s first NHL goal to give the Bruins a 2-0 lead late in the second period, and he also picked up the primary assist on Brad Marchand’s power-play goal in the third frame. The 22-year-old now has 21 goals and 20 assists in 34 games this season. He’s picked up at least one point in six of his last seven games. He’s a must-start in all fantasy formats.
