The Bruins were trailing 4-1 just 51 seconds into the third period but were able to turn the table on the Hurricanes with Pastrnak picking up a hat trick in the final frame. Pastrnak has 13 points over his last seven games, bringing him to 27 goals and 68 points in 68 games this season. Brad Marchand, Danton Heinen and Matt Grzelcyk also scored in the win.

Darcy Kuemper will return from a lower-body injury on Tuesday night and start against Boston.

Ryan Miller has a sprained MCL and it's estimated that he will be sidelined for about six weeks.

Miller will be re-evaluated in two weeks. He was injured in Sunday's game against New Jersey. Anaheim has claimed Chad Johnson off waivers from St. Louis to help fill the void behind John Gibson.
Dec 11 - 12:45 PM

Anaheim has claimed Chad Johnson off waivers from the St. Louis Blues.

This may not bode well for the status of Ryan Miller, who was injured on Sunday night. Johnson has struggled with the Blues this season, posting a 2-6-0 record with a 3.54 goals-against average and .884 save percentage in 10 appearances.
Dec 11 - 12:24 PM

Jaden Schwartz (upper body) will return to the lineup on Tuesday against Florida.

Schwartz has been out for the last 11 games due to an upper-body injury. He has two goals and nine points in 15 appearances this year. He is slated to play alongside David Perron and Brayden Schenn.
Dec 11 - 12:19 PM

T.J. Oshie feels ready to return from a concussion that has kept him out of the last 11 games.

Capitals coach Todd Reirden wouldn't confirm that Oshie will play following the morning skate, though. "We'll see how he is tonight. It's game-time, but things are definitely headed in that direction, so that will be exciting if we can get him back in there tonight." He has practiced fully with Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom for the past two sessions, including Tuesday's morning skate. It seems probable he will play against Detroit.
Dec 11 - 11:51 AM

Linus Ullmark will be in goal Tuesday night versus Los Angeles.

Ullmark will get his third straight start, but Carter Hutton (upper body) will be back in uniform for the contest as the backup goaltender. Ullmark has gone winless in his past three outings (0-1-2) and he was blitzed for six goals on 41 shots by Philadelphia on Saturday.

Timo Meier scored two goals in a 5-2 win versus the Devils on Monday night.

The 22-year old opened the scoring for the Sharks in the first period and later gave his team some insurance in the second, making it a 4-2 game. With the pair of goals, Meier has now amassed 16 goals and 30 points so far in 2018-19. Pavelski, Simek and Hertl also scored in the win.
Dec 11 - 1:11 AM

Louis Domingue turned aside 23 of 26 shots in Monday's 6-3 win over the New York Rangers.

The Rangers were up 1-0 and 2-1 in the first period thanks to goals by Kevin Hayes, but Tampa managed to explode offensively. Domingue has done a nice job filling in for injured starter Andrei Vasilevskiy. The 26-year-old has now rattled off six consecutive victories and he has just one loss in his last 10 games. Domingue owns a 13-4-0 record with a 2.78 goals-against-average and a .906 save percentage this season.
Dec 10 - 10:54 PM

Kevin Hayes scored a pair of goals in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Hayes did all of his damage in the first period, as he managed to give his team 1-0 and 2-1 leads. Unfortunately for the Rangers, it wasn't enough to give them a victory. Hayes finished the night with a plus-2 rating, five shots on goal and one hit in 20:25 of ice time. The 26-year-old has put together back-to-back multi-point games. He has seven goals and 21 points in 30 games this season. Jesper Fast also scored for the Rangers on Monday night.
