Kyle Connor scored a goal in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 2 of the Western Conference Final.

The Jets couldn't solve Golden Knights goalie Marc-Andre Fleury in the first two periods, but Connor managed to cut their deficit to 2-1 with a power-play goal at the 7:17 mark of the third frame. Nikolaj Ehlers and Tyler Myers registered the assists on Winnipeg's only goal. Connor finished the night with a minus-1 rating and four shots on goal in 17:43 of ice time. The 21-year-old is up to three goals and nine points in 14 games this postseason. This best-of-seven series is now tied up at one. Game 3 will be played in Vegas on Wednesday night.

Ryan Miller will start Sunday's game against New Jersey.

Miller has wins over Washington and Tampa Bay in his last two outings. He owns a record of 4-2-1 this season with a 2.47 goals-against average and .929 save percentage.

There's a chance that Antti Raanta (lower body) may not play again this season.

Coyotes GM John Chayka said Raanta had a procedure for his lower-body injury and the damage was more extensive than originally thought. He also confirmed the possibility that Raanta might be done for the year. For now, he is out indefinitely.

Zach Hyman has received a two-game suspension for interference on Boston's Charlie McAvoy.

Hyman got five minutes for interference and a game misconduct on the play. He also had to fight Bruins defender Matt Grzelcyk after the hit. Hyman will be eligible to return on Saturday, Dec. 15 against Florida.

Mark Scheifele registered three assists to pace Winnipeg to a 7-1 win against Philadelphia on Sunday.

Scheifele had a hand in goals by Brandon Tanev, Dustin Byfuglien (power play) and Blake Wheeler (shorthanded) during the second period. He didn't have a point in his previous two outings following a five-game point streak.

Schneider will get the first half of New Jersey's back-to-back situation. He is still looking for his first win of the season. He has gone 0-5-0 so far with a 4.19 GAA and .862 save percentage.

Elias Pettersson amassed five points, including four assists, in Sunday's 6-1 win against the St. Louis Blues.

Pettersson set up three goals by Brock Boeser in the contest as well as a marker by Nikolay Goldobin. He has two five-point performances this season. Pettersson also set a Canucks franchise record for the fewest appearances (26 games) to record his first 30 career points.

Tuukka Rask will start Sunday against Ottawa.

Rask will get the second half of Boston's back-to-back situation after Jaroslav Halak was in goal for Saturday's win over Toronto. Rask dropped a 3-2 decision to Tampa Bay on Thursday in his last outing. He owns a 6-6-2 record this season with a 2.63 goals-against average and .914 save percentage.

Scott Darling has been called up by Carolina.

In five games with the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL this year, he has posted a 3-1-0 record with a 2.35 goals-against average and .911 save percentage. It seems like the Hurricanes will give him another look with Curtis McElhinney sidelined due to a lower-body injury.

Interim coach Craig Berube cited Perron's recent play and some penalties for the reasoning behind the decision. Perron had one assist and two penalty minutes over 13:26 of ice time in Friday's 1-0 win over Winnipeg.
