Tyler Ennis has signed a one-year, $650,000 contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Minnesota Wild bought out the final season of Ennis' five-year, $23 million contract, making him an unrestricted free agent. He had eight goals and 22 points in 73 games last season. At his height, Ennis was good for 40-50 points per season. Given how low-risk this signing is for Toronto, it makes a lot of sense.
