The Montreal Canadiens have acquired Tomas Tatar, Nick Suzuki and a second round pick in 2019 from Vegas in exchange for Max Pacioretty.

It was a short time in Vegas for Tatar who was dealt at the deadline from Detroit for a first, second and third round pick. He played 20 regular season games with the Golden Knights and had only four goals and six points while going minus-11 with the top team in the Pacific Division. He was also benched frequently in the playoffs, playing only eight games. He should get 20-plus goals and 45 points in Montreal but it ended up being a costly move for the Golden Knights in that they gave up a ton to get him in future picks just six months ago.
