Brett Howden scored a goal during Thursday’s 3-2 overtime win over the San Jose Sharks

Howden picked up the loose puck in front of goal and made a gorgeous move to slip the puck in between his legs and in behind Aaron Dell for the goal. The Rangers followed that up with goals by Brendan Smith and Brady Skjei to come away with the win despite being outshot 43-27. Howden was a first round pick by the Lightning back in 2016 and was acquired in the deal that sent Ryan McDonagh and J.T. Miller to Tampa. Howden hasn’t looked out of place so far in his career and has now totaled two goals and three points through New York’s opening four games. Keep an eye on him.
