Oshie left the game momentarily after taking a shoulder to the head from Evgeni Malkin. Not only did he manage to come back to the game, he also added the go-ahead goal at the 18:46 mark of the third frame thanks to a great feed from John Carlson. The 31-year-old finished the night with a plus-1 rating and one shot on goal in 12:54 of ice time. Oshie now has eight goals and five assists in 14 games this season. Alex Ovechkin also found the back of the net for the Capitals on Wednesday night.

In his fourth game with his new team, the 26-year old has just as many goals and increases his 2018-19 totals to 13 goals and 27 points.

The only goal that Binnington allowed was to Ducks’ forward Daniel Sprong on the first shot that he faced. His teammates continued to dominate the play and the 25-year old goaltender earned his fifth win of the season. He now sports a 5-1-1 record with a 1.84 GAA and .924 save percentage.

Jonathan Drouin found the back of the net during Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes.

Drouin opened the scoring with a power-goal at the 9:29 mark of the first period. The tally on the man-advantage was a little surprising considering the Canadiens, who have the 31st ranked power play in the NHL, were going up against the league's best penalty-killing unit. This was Drouin's first power-play goal since Nov. 17 and just his third of the year. The 23-year-old has 14 goals and 37 points in 51 games this season.
