Dylan Bundy - BAL

Dylan Bundy turned in a quality start and earned a 6-5 win over the White Sox on Saturday.
He pushed the limits of the quality start statistic, allowing three runs in six innings. He surrendered six hits and one walk while striking out three. One of the hits was a solo home run by Cody Asche. Bundy threw an inefficient 105 pitches, 68 for strikes. It wasn't one of his best efforts but Bundy and his fantasy owners will take it. He moves to 5-1 with a stellar 2.17 ERA after seven starts. His 28 strikeouts in 45 2/3 innings are a sign he has not been as dominant as his record and ERA make it seem. May. 7 - 12:08 am et

 Darren O'Day - BAL

Darren O'Day struck out two in a clean ninth inning to earn a save against the White Sox on Saturday.
It was his second save of the season. Orioles closer Zach Britton was put back on the disabled list yesterday and his absence could be longer this time. Brad Brach should get most of the save chances moving forward but O'Day will be in the mix as well. May. 7 - 12:01 am et

 Manny Machado - BAL

Manny Machado went 2-for-4 and hit a solo home run on Saturday versus the White Sox.
He singled and scored in the first inning, then cracked a solo shot in the second. The two hits boosted his batting average from .224 to .234 after 29 games. He has eight home runs, 16 runs and 20 RBI in 129 plate appearances. May. 6 - 11:57 pm et

 Trey Mancini - BAL

Trey Mancini went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Saturday's win over the White Sox.
He smacked a run-scoring double in the first inning, then launched a two-run dinger in the fifth. Mancini has not been getting everyday playing time but has hit well when given the chance. He is batting .267/.286/.633 with six homers and 17 RBI in 63 plate appearances. May. 6 - 11:52 pm et

 Logan Verrett - BAL

Orioles recalled RHP Logan Verrett from Triple-A Norfolk.
The Orioles needed some reinforcements with Zach Britton (forearm) and Gabriel Ynoa (hamstring) headed to the disabled list. Verrett's only appearance for the O's this year came Sunday when he spun two scoreless innings in a win over the Yankees.

 Alec Asher - BAL

Orioles recalled RHP Alec Asher from Triple-A Norfolk.
Asher was sent to the minors on Thursday but the Orioles were allowed to bring him back because of injuries to Zach Britton (forearm) and Gabriel Ynoa (hamstring). Under normal circumstances, they would have had to wait 10 days to recall him. Asher holds a 3.14 ERA in four appearances for the O's including two starts this season.

 Gabriel Ynoa - BAL

Orioles placed RHP Gabriel Ynoa on the 10-day disabled list with a right hamstring strain.
Ynoa hurled six shutout innings Friday in a spot start against the White Sox but injured his hamstring in the process. Alec Asher and Logan Verrett have been called up from Triple-A Norfolk to fill the void left by Ynoa and Zach Britton (forearm).

 Jordan Kipper - BAL

Orioles acquired RHP Jordan Kipper from the Angels in exchange for RHP Damien Magnifico.
A ninth-round pick out of TCU in 2014, Kipper holds an underwhelming 4.02 ERA in the minor leagues, though he's gotten off to a good start with Double-A Mobile this year with a 1.74 ERA over his first five starts. The 24-year-old will start out with Triple-A Norfolk.

 Zach Britton - BAL

Zach Britton will go to Los Angeles to have his forearm examined by Dr. Neal ElAttrache.
His meeting with ElAttrache is scheduled for Monday. Britton is still dealing with inflammation in his strained forearm but insists his elbow is fine. The Orioles have already said Britton's stint on the disabled list will be longer than the minimum 10 days. Brad Brach will handle the ninth inning for however long Britton is out for.

 Jonathan Schoop - BAL

Jonathan Schoop (hand) is not in the Orioles' lineup Saturday against the White Sox.
Schoop took a pitch off his hand last night and still feels some soreness in the fleshy part of his palm. This will be his first absence of the season. Ryan Flaherty will draw the start at second and bat seventh against White Sox right-hander Dylan Covey. Consider Schoop day-to-day.
