Eric Chavez delivered an RBI single and a two-run double in the Diamondbacks' 5-3 victory over the Braves on Wednesday.

Both hits came off old A's teammate Tim Hudson. Playing more than anticipated with Aaron Hill sidelined, Chavez is batting .301 with four homers and 16 RBI in 85 at-bats, which is one reason the Diamondbacks are off to a nice start at 23-18. May 15 - 6:58 PM

That will be two weeks after Hill was hoping to get the go-ahead to resume baseball activities, as his fractured hand is healing much slower than expected. The original timetable had him possibly returning by late May, but he probably won't be activated until well into June now. May 21

CF	1	Adam Eaton D.L. An MRI taken Wednesday on Adam Eaton's sore left elbow showed no structural damage, but he won't throw a baseball for 2-3 weeks. Eaton suffered a sprained UCL in March and has been dealing with renewed discomfort. The outfielder will spend the next 2-3 weeks doing strength and conditioning work before attempting to resume a throwing program. He can be ruled out until at least late June. It's a disappointing setback for one of 2013's biggest fantasy darlings. May 23

	6	Daniel Hudson D.L. Daniel Hudson (elbow) gave up two runs on five hits over four innings in an extended spring training game on Friday. It's the first time since last year's Tommy John surgery that Hudson has faced hitters wearing a different uniform. The D'Backs says the righty's fastball sat in the 91-93 mph range, which is obviously a good sign. "The light at the end of the tunnel is getting a little bit brighter now," Hudson said. Hudson will appear in another extended spring game next week and doesn't appear far off from a rehab assignment. He could be back as soon as late June if all goes well, though the big club doesn't currently have room for him in the rotation. May 19
