Justin Morneau will officially retire with a press conference at Target Field on Wednesday.
Morneau, who didn't play in the majors in 2017, is set to join the Twins as a special assistant. The four-time All-Star will end his playing career with a .281/.348/.481 batting line, 247 home runs and 985 RBI over 14 seasons, most of them with the Twins.
