Javier Lopez (hand) is slated to make his Cactus League debut Friday.
That's if the game isn't washed away by rain. Lopez has been sidelined since suffering a bruise on his pitching hand when he was hit by a comebacker on February 19.

Javier Lopez (hand) threw a bullpen session Thursday with no issues.
He'll throw another one Saturday. Lopez isn't sure when he'll be ready for game action, but it shouldn't be long. The lefty has been out since getting hit on the left hand by a comebacker.

Javier Lopez underwent X-rays on his left hand which ruled out a fracture.
Lopez was hit in the hand with a ball Tuesday because of a short-hop throw, but he managed to walk away with just a contusion. The Giants figure to be extra careful since it's his throwing hand, but he should be able to resume regular workouts soon.

Javier Lopez left the field Monday after a ball hit his left hand and deflected up and hit his face.
The injury occurred on short-hop throw. It doesn't sound like a major concern, but the Giants are examining him just to be sure. The 35-year-old southpaw had a 2.50 ERA and 28/14 K/BB ratio over 36 innings last season and projects to serve as an important late-inning arm again in 2013.

Giants placed RHP Ryan Vogelsong on the 15-day disabled list with a fractured right hand.
Vogelsong was hit by a pitch while swinging the bat in the fifth inning Tuesday and suffered fractures above and below the top knuckle in his pinkie. He's expected to undergo surgery Tuesday and will likely miss around six weeks. Chad Gaudin is the most likely replacement for the rotation, though the Giants could call up Michael Kickham from Triple-A.

Casilla has been dealing with a cyst on his right knee and recently started wearing a brace, but he is apparently still dealing with discomfort. The Giants are clearing hoping that a couple of weeks of rest will do the trick. Sandy Rosario will replace him in the bullpen.
