Eric Young Jr. doubled and homered Tuesday as the Rockies beat the Cubs.
The home run, Young's first, drove in two runs and he also scored twice on the night. The outfielder has been seeing everyday at-bats with Michael Cuddyer on the disabled list, and manager Walt Weiss has used him primarily as the team's leadoff hitter.
