Casey Janssen earned his ninth save in nine tries, pitching a perfect ninth inning to preserve a 6-4 win over the Rays on Tuesday night in Tampa Bay.

Janssen hasn't blown a save opportunity yet this season, having allowed just one run in 12 total frames. With Sergio Santos still sidelined due to a triceps strain, Janssen has little competition for the job and has given little reason to think he needs any. There was some concern over his right shoulder heading into the season, but those concerns have gone by the wayside with his hot start. May 8 - 12:12 AM

Reyes had the walking boot on his left foot removed Tuesday and is evidently recovering a bit ahead of schedule, as he had been expected to sit out until around the All-Star break. The shortstop is still in the early stages of his recovery, though. A lot can happen over the next six weeks. May 14

	2	Josh Johnson D.L. Josh Johnson (triceps) will make at least two more rehab starts. Johnson struck out five over three innings of one-run ball on Monday with High-A Dunedin. He's feeling good physically, but the right-hander obviously needs to build up his stamina. He'll rejoin the rotation in early June if he can avoid a setback. May 21

	5	J.A. Happ D.L. J.A. Happ (head, knee) is expected to be sidelined 4-6 weeks. Happ will avoid throwing for a week before beginning to toss on flat ground. The Blue Jays are optimistic that the left-hander will be sidelined closer to four weeks. All things considered, that's about as good as Happ and the club could have hoped for. May 9
	6	Dustin McGowan D.L. Dustin McGowan (shoulder) will continue his minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Buffalo. McGowan allowed one hit and one walk over two scoreless innings with High-A Dunedin and notched four strikeouts. The Blue Jays can't count on him given his lengthy injury history, but he could be an option to join the bullpen later this month if all goes well. May 17
	7	Drew Hutchison D.L. Drew Hutchison (elbow) is on track to face live hitters in about three weeks. Hutchison is currently making his way back from Tommy John surgery last August. While the 22-year-old right-hander is unlikely to see any game action until late in the season, he feels good about his progress. "You always want to do more but you know you have to follow the process and do what they tell you to do because that’s what’s in your best interest," said Hutchison. "I feel good, which is good, but you also realize that it’s the process and you need to follow the process." May 8
	8	Kyle Drabek D.L. Kyle Drabek (elbow) expects to throw live batting practice in the next week or two. Drabek threw a bullpen session Monday in extended spring training. He's coming back from the second Tommy John surgery of his career, so the Blue Jays figure to take things slow, but he could be looking at a return around midseason if all goes well. May 8
