Scott Feldman surrendered two runs on three hits over five innings of work in Wednesday's rain-shortened Cactus League win over the Cubs.
Feldman was the only Reds pitcher to toe the mound during the contest, which was called in the fifth inning. He struck out three and walked three on the evening. The two runs to score on his watch came when he coughed up a two-run homer to Kyle Schwarber in the top of the fifth. The Reds have tabbed Feldman as their Opening Day starter. In four starts this spring, the veteran right-hander has pitched to a 4.15 ERA. He posted a 3.97 ERA while splitting time between the Astros and Blue Jays in 2016. Mar 22 - 10:56 PM
