Everett Teaford (shoulder) will throw another bullpen session Friday and should be game ready by late next week.
Teaford has been dealing with some soreness in his pitching shoulder, but he's coming along nicely. He's competing for a middle relief spot for the Royals.

Everett Teaford (shoulder) is long-tossing at 75 feet with no issues.
"I threw from 75 feet, and it felt good. I am off today, and then tomorrow I'll throw from maybe 90 feet. You never know what tomorrow will bring," Teaford said Thursday. It sounds like the lefty should be ready to throw from a mound soon.

Everett Teaford (shoulder) is hoping to resume throwing off a mound on Monday.
Teaford miss his last two scheduled throwing sessions because of a sore shoulder. "It’s just a range-of-motion thing," Teaford said. "It’s not a major setback. I kept hoping it was one of those spring-training things where it will just be, boom, release and everything will be good. That my body would catch up. But I could feel my mechanics starting to go south."

Everett Teaford was scratched from his live batting practice session Friday due to minor shoulder soreness.
The Royals aren't concerned and expect the left-hander to resume throwing next week. Teaford will compete this spring for a spot as a long man in the bullpen.

Jarrod Dyson has been diagnosed with a mild high ankle sprain and is expected to be sidelined for 2-to-4 weeks.
The 28-year-old speedster had been off to a decent start this season, hitting .268/.286/.561 with a homer, eight RBI and six stolen bases through his first 41 at-bats. While the timetable for recovery is short, any injury to the ankle is something to very closely monitor for a player such as Dyson who derives all of his fantasy value from his speed. David Lough could be worth a look in very deep leagues while Dyson is out.
