Reds purchased the contract of OF Derrick Robinson from Triple-A Louisville.

He'll take the place of the injured Ryan Ludwick (shoulder) on the active roster. Robinson, 25, batted .268/.344/.325 with two homers, 23 stolen bases and a .668 OPS in 116 games with the Royals' Triple-A affiliate last season.
