Tyler Flowers hit a three-run homer off Justin Grimm in the sixth inning to give the White Sox all of their runs in Thursday's win over the Rangers.

Flowers is hitting just .186, but at least four of his 13 hits have been homers. Really, it's pretty close to what should have been expected from him. Maybe he'll end up batting .220 or so, but he'll only be useful in the power categories. May 2 - 11:16 PM

Beckham played shortstop in college and as a prospect, but he has never done so in the majors. Of course, Alexei Ramirez is in the second year of a four-year, $32.5 million contract, so there would have to be an injury or a trade for him to get a look there with the big club. Still, it's an interesting development. Beckham is hitting .462 (6-for-13) with one double and two RBI over three rehab games and should be activated this weekend. May 21

	3	John Danks D.L. John Danks (shoulder) went 4 2/3 innings Saturday in his third minor league rehab start. If everything checks out with the left-hander early this week, he should be cleared to join the White Sox starting rotation on Friday night against the Marlins. Danks has been on the shelf all year and makes for a decent waiver stash right now in AL-only fantasy leagues. Since he's coming off shoulder surgery and still rebuilding his arm strength, it might not be wise to trust him right out of the gate in standard mixed formats. Even against Miami. May 20
	4	Gavin Floyd D.L. Gavin Floyd underwent successful surgery Wednesday to repair the ulnar collateral ligament and flexor muscle in his right elbow. The surgeon told the White Sox that the operation "could not have gone better." However, since he needed two major areas operated on, the recovery is expected to be 14-19 months rather than the standard 12 months for Tommy John surgery. With that timetable, Floyd probably shouldn't be counted on for a whole lot in 2014. He'll be a free agent over the winter. May 8
