Everth Cabrera went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI in Saturday's win against the Nationals.

Cabrera has now stolen a base in four consecutive games, bumping him to the National League leader with 15. The shortstop will never post a good batting average, but he's getting on base more and running as effectively as ever. The 26-year-old shortstop batted .246/.324/.324 with a league-leading 44 stolen bases last season and is a decent bet to improve upon all numbers in 2013. May 19 - 1:31 AM

LF	1	Carlos Quentin Sidelined Carlos Quentin is out of the Padres' lineup again Wednesday after receiving an injection in his left knee Tuesday. The Padres were expecting Quentin to miss just one game after he aggravated his chronic knee injury on an awkward slide Monday. They changed their minds, though, deciding to give him the injection in hopes that he'll be ready on Friday after Thursday's off day. Jesus Guzman is playing left field Wednesday. May 22

	2	Clayton Richard D.L. Clayton Richard (illness) gave up two runs in six innings Tuesday in his second minor league rehab start with Triple-A Tucson. Richard, out since May 4 with an intestinal virus, gave up five hits and no walks while striking out four. The southpaw threw 65 out of 94 pitches for strikes. It should be enough for the Padres to activate him from the disabled list. May 22

	7	Cory Luebke D.L. Cory Luebke (elbow) has had his throwing program stopped for the second time this year in his attempt to return from Tommy John surgery. Luebke was shut down in early March before resuming sessions of catch on April 1, and he had progressed to throwing off a mound before this latest setback. Obviously none of this bodes well for his mission to return to live major league games by the All-Star break. May 18
	8	Joe Wieland D.L. Joe Wieland (elbow) threw a bullpen session Friday at the Padres' spring training complex. Wieland, currently on the 60-day disabled list, is nine months removed from Tommy John surgery and will continued to be moved along slowly.
