Jon Singleton was pulled for a pinch-hitter after going 0-for-1 with a walk Thursday against the Indians.
Singleton is just 3-for-24 since being called up 13 days ago. He has a 13/3 K/BB ratio, and he's yet to homer. Really, if the Astros want to give him a fair shot, it should be as a regular starter against right-handers. Since that doesn't seem to be happening, it'd be no surprise to see him wind up back in Triple-A soon. Jul 9 - 10:02 PM
