Martin Maldonado went 1-for-2 with a two-run single in Saturday's Cactus League win over the Brewers.
Maldonado came through with a two-run single off Chase Anderson in the bottom of the first inning. The veteran backstop hit just .221/.276/.368 a year ago, but augmented those subpar numbers via a career-best 14 home runs, 19 doubles and Gold Glove-winning defense. The 2017 campaign was his first receiving more than 250 at-bats. He finished with 429 of them for the season. Feb 24 - 6:55 PM
