J.T. Realmuto had a productive night at the dish, going 3-for-5 with an RBI single and a bases-clearing triple as the Marlins topped the Nationals on Friday.
It was the Marlins' biggest offensive showing of the season, as their 15 runs eclipsed the 14 they had scored against the Phillies on May 21. Realmuto cleared the bases with a triple in the fifth inning and later scored as the Marlins took a 7-4 lead. He added an RBI single in the ninth and later scored on an Enrique Hernandez grand slam. In only 27 plate appearances this season, Realmuto is hitting .269/.296/.385 with nine RBI. Sep 26 - 10:51 PM
