Justin Grimm was bombed for five earned runs over five innings in his second consecutive start Monday, taking a loss against the A's.
He had the same line Tuesday against the Brewers. The one bit of good news for the former fifth-round pick was that he didn't allow a first-inning run after having struggled with that frame all season. Grimm surrendered a pair of homers, two walks and seven hits while striking out three. In his last two starts, Grimm's ERA has jumped from 2.28 to 4.23 and his WHIP has gone from 1.27 to 1.49. We expect Grimm's ERA to keep rising, but he's a decent enough option in AL-only leagues. May 14 - 2:21 AM
