Anthony DeSclafani gave up five runs over five-plus innings in a loss to the Cubs on Wednesday.
The Cubs scored in the final four innings in which DeSclafani appeared. He allowed a leadoff home run to Starlin Castro to begin the sixth and issued a walk before exiting. Overall, he gave up eight hits and a pair of walks while striking out eight. DeSclafani heads into the off-season with a 4.05 ERA, a 1.35 WHIP, and a 151/55 K/BB ratio over 184 2/3 innings. He finished with a few subpar outings but he could provide some late-round value in deeper drafts next season. Wed, Sep 30, 2015 10:26:00 PM
