Gortat was hoping to make a one-game cameo, but his conditioning simply isn't there and he doesn't have enough practice time to get right before the regular season finale.

Marcin Gortat, who would like to come back and play in one more game for the Suns, will not suit up on Monday night due to conditioning issues.
Maybe he'll play in Wednesday's finale, but he hasn't played since March 6 due to a foot injury, so we're not expecting much if he does make an appearance on Wednesday.

Marcin Gortat (foot), who is hoping to make a one-game cameo before the season ends, is not a lock to play again this season.
"I’m coming back fast. I just need a little more time," he said. "I need to get in basketball shape. My jumper is so messed up. I don’t have a feel for the ball much. I’ll be back. I don’t know if it’s this year or next year." Even if he does return for one game, it will be for limited minutes and he's not an option for fantasy owners.

Marcin Gortat (foot) shot Thursday without a walking boot and hopes to return for a one-game cameo before the end of the season.
Gortat has said he needs to learn how to walk again, so we're a little skeptical of him being able to return to actual game action with just seven games left on Phoenix's schedule A cameo, on the other hand, seems more feasible, although also doesn't appear very practical or useful. Whether he does appear in a game or not, Gortat is, for all intents and purposes, done for the season.

Channing Frye
Sidelined
Channing Frye (heart) said he's "95 percent positive" he'll be healthy enough to return to the NBA next season.
Frye has missed the entire season after doctors discovered an enlarged heart during a routine stress exam. Frye admitted there's a chance he may never play again, but he's thinking about joining the Suns on the road in March and April to get used to traveling again. The sweet-shooting big man can't work out but says he takes 200 shots every other day and uses golf and yoga to help keep himself somewhat in shape. Frye has two years left on his contract after this one.

Gortat was hoping to make a one-game cameo, but his conditioning simply isn't there and he doesn't have enough practice time to get right before the regular season finale.
