P.J. Tucker shot 8-of-13 from the field for a career-high 21 points with five boards, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer against the Rockets on Monday.
He also brought some hard-nosed defense on James Harden and the Suns have rewarded his defense with more looks on offense. Tucker has been a little too inconsistent, so he's not really worth starting against the Nuggets on Wednesday.

P.J. Tucker had 17 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and three 3-pointers on 6-of-9 shooting to record his fourth double-double of the season in Wednesday's win over the Mavs.
Tucker had scored 10 or fewer points in four straight games coming in, so this one wasn't easy to see coming. Markieff Morris added 12 points, seven boards, a block and two 3-pointers, Wes Johnson had 17 points and three 3-pointers, and Jared Dudley came off the bench for 18 points and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes. The Suns don't have anything to play for and all of these guys benefitted from the absence of Michael Beasley, who missed his second straight game for the birth of his daughter. All of them are worth consideration in fantasy right now, but Beasley will be back on Saturday.

The Suns will exercise the 2013/14 team option on P.J. Tucker's contract.
Tucker will make a little less than $900K, a third-year veteran's minimum salary. He's played at least 30 minutes in four of the last five games, but he's better left for deep leaguers than those in standard formats.

His sore knee is officially not a problem, though his fantasy value remains limited to a handful of points, rebounds and blocks. Elsewhere at SF, Michael Beasley came off the bench for 13 points and two boards in 17 minutes.

Channing Frye
Sidelined
Channing Frye (heart) said he's "95 percent positive" he'll be healthy enough to return to the NBA next season.
Frye has missed the entire season after doctors discovered an enlarged heart during a routine stress exam. Frye admitted there's a chance he may never play again, but he's thinking about joining the Suns on the road in March and April to get used to traveling again. The sweet-shooting big man can't work out but says he takes 200 shots every other day and uses golf and yoga to help keep himself somewhat in shape. Frye has two years left on his contract after this one.

Gortat was hoping to make a one-game cameo, but his conditioning simply isn't there and he doesn't have enough practice time to get right before the regular season finale.
