Danilo Gallinari will undergo his second knee surgery in three weeks.
Gallinari had his meniscus repaired three weeks ago, and now he'll undergo a surgery to repair his torn ACL. Since Gallinari won't have his ACL surgery until June, there is virtually no way he'll be ready for the start of the season and we could be looking at a scenario where the forward is out until around Christmas or potentially the start of 2014. It's a situation fantasy owners need to watch closely during the offseason.

The Nuggets confirmed that no date has been set yet for Danilo Gallinari's ACL surgery.
This is turning into a more serious injury than originally reported. Gallinari underwent a scope Monday to repair meniscus damage in his left knee. Now he'll have to rehab for an undetermined amount of time before going under the knife again. It's looking more and more unlikely that Gallo will be ready for the start of next season.

Danilo Gallinari underwent successful knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus on Monday, and he will have another surgery to repair his torn ACL at a later date.
This goes against a report that stated Gallo had not sustained any meniscus damage, so this is certainly worth monitoring. Gallinari will now undergo two separate procedures on the same knee and faces an uphill battle to get back on the court before the 2013/14 season begins. It's more likely he returns in late November or early December, but his timetable remains fluid.

Danilo Gallinari will undergo his second knee surgery in three weeks.
Gallinari had his meniscus repaired three weeks ago, and now he'll undergo a surgery to repair his torn ACL. Since Gallinari won't have his ACL surgery until June, there is virtually no way he'll be ready for the start of the season and we could be looking at a scenario where the forward is out until around Christmas or potentially the start of 2014. It's a situation fantasy owners need to watch closely during the offseason.
