Rick Adelman said that Chris Johnson "has to get stronger" before next season.

Johnson's deal for next year is non-guaranteed, so if he's looking to make the team out of training camp, he's going to have to come in and really impress. C	1	Nikola Pekovic Sidelined Former Timberwolves GM David Kahn believes Nikola Pekovic is "probably aiming for a double-digit salary" as a restricted free agent during the offseason. It's what we expected to hear, but Pekovic's free agency has the potential to turn into a monster headache for the team. The Wolves aren't good enough as currently constructed, but they can't really afford to lose Pekovic without a suitable replacement. A desperate team will throw Pekovic a multi-year offer at something like $10-12 million per season, a figure that may be difficult for Minnesota to match when looking at all of the holes on the roster. It's rare a team lets a restricted free agent leave, especially someone as critical as Pekovic is to Minnesota. May 3
