Bradley Beal continues to recover from a stress reaction in his right fibula, and Wizards' doctors have not yet cleared him for physical activity.
We are beyond Beal's original six-week timetable for inactivity, but there's no cause for concern at this stage. We'll start to worry if the injury limits his activity during the Las Vegas Summer League, which he'll likely be asked to join in July.

Bradley Beal reported improvement in his stress injury (leg) that ended in his season.
Beal still hasn't tested the leg yet. "I'm really just staying off it, walking around, no running, not jumping. I still have a few more weeks before I can do any of that." The Wizards will treat Beal with kid gloves after he dealt with ankle injuries toward the end of his season, and Beal expects to play in summer league.

Bradley Beal (leg, out for season) admitted that he shouldn't have tried to play through dual ankle injuries.
Beal battled lower-leg issues throughout his rookie season. He'll end up missing 26 games, but the good news is that no surgery is required. When active, he showed impressive shooting ability while averaging 13.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.6 3-pointers per game. Beal is going to have a ton of upside as a full-time starter and core piece for the Wizards in 2013-14.

Bradley Beal will miss the remainder of the 2012-13 season with a stress injury in his right fibula.
Beal had missed a total of 11 games after spraining his left ankle twice in March and there are a couple media outlets speculating that the stress injury and Beal's ankle problems could be connected. Whatever the case, it's a scary sign that Beal is already dealing with multiple leg/ankle injuries in just his first NBA season. The Wizards say Beal will be able to resume basketball activities in six weeks, which means he'll be fully recovered in time to work with the Wizards' summer league team prior to training camp. Garrett Temple will likely finish out the season as a starter while Martell Webster and Trevor Ariza will pick up extra minutes, as well.

Leandro Barbosa
Sidelined
Wizards acquired the $1.2 million expiring contract of Leandro Barbosa.
Barbosa is out for the year due to an ACL tear, so this is just a straight Jordan Crawford dump by the Wizards. Barbosa will hit free agency in July at age 30 while rehabbing a devastating injury. Expect a soft market at best.

Bradley Beal
Sidelined
Bradley Beal continues to recover from a stress reaction in his right fibula, and Wizards' doctors have not yet cleared him for physical activity.
We are beyond Beal's original six-week timetable for inactivity, but there's no cause for concern at this stage. We'll start to worry if the injury limits his activity during the Las Vegas Summer League, which he'll likely be asked to join in July.

Martell Webster
Sidelined
Martell Webster said re-signing with the Wizards is "a high priority."
It's a well-known fact that Washington would like to retain Webster, but things change when free agency enters the mix. Webster shot 42.2 percent from 3-point range this season and should have a fair number of suitors this summer. We expect the swingman to land a nice raise after signing a one-year, $1.6 million deal with the Wizards last summer.

Trevor Ariza
Sidelined
Trevor Ariza (knee) has ruled himself out for the final two games of the 2012-13 season.
Ariza is battling mysterious knee soreness and it makes no sense for him to risk further injury during meaningless games, so this isn't unexpected. With Martell Webster also done for the season, Garrett Temple and A.J. Price will play heavy minutes this week.

Nene Hilario
Sidelined
Wizards GM Ernie Grunfeld said the team will weigh whether to keep Nene on a minutes count next season regardless of his health status.
Nene played in just 61 games this year due to a variety of injuries and is under contract for another three seasons for roughly $40 million. It's understandable the Wiz would want to prolong his career and his value for as long as possible. Nene averaged 12.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 0.6 blocks in 27 minutes per game this season.
