Jaren Jackson Jr. said he biggest takeaway from summer league is that he should "work on playing lower."
"I think you’ve got to be lower to get a good base so you can make quicker moves," Jackson Jr. said. "I’m tall, so getting low is way down there for me." We saw JJJ play way more PF than we expected, so this quote coincides with how he may not be playing near the basket all the time. On defense, he could be getting switched on to smalls a lot, but JJJ thrived in staying with them and blocking shots near the rim.
