Baron Davis (knee surgery) will work for the Knicks in an "advisory capacity" next season, as well as helping the team with charity work, in-game entertainment, and possibly scouting.
Baron will miss the entire 2012-13 season while he rehabs from a torn right ACL, MCL and patella tendon, but he still plans to mount a comeback in the NBA. In spite of his multi-faceted involvement with the Knicks this year, he's not expected to be given an official title.

Unrestricted free agent Baron Davis (knee surgery) will remain with the Knicks in "some capacity," his agent told ESPN New York.
New York "won't re-sign Davis as a player" since he's expected to miss most, if not all of the 2012-13 season, but "management has approached him about staying on board." Davis is said to be "very excited about the opportunity," which is believed to be a mentor role behind the scenes. Although Davis still wants to make a comeback and is currently walking without a knee brace or crutches, he's still got a long way to go.

Baron Davis (torn ACL and MCL) reportedly "intends to return to the league this season," but his lengthy rehab may force him to wait until 2013-14.
"I’m feeling good, getting there," Baron said on Sunday. "A lot of rehab. A lot of rehab." He apparently looked "trim and healthy" while hosting a charity event last weekend, but a healthy dose of skepticism is required when it comes to Baron's health and conditioning -- it would be stunning to see him on a basketball court before next summer.

Unrestricted free agent Baron Davis (knee surgery) said that he has no plans to retire.
"I don't know how long (for the brace and crutch), but once I am done, it's on to rehab," he said. "I am coming back." Davis said that he would welcome the opportunity to return to the Knicks when he's healthy enough to play, but that's still very far away at this point. After undergoing reconstructive surgery in May, Davis is expected to miss at least 12 months.

Raymond Felton (ankle) is "fine," and is expected to play in Game 6 vs. Indiana after receiving treatment.
Felton's been dealing with the ankle issue since the beginning of the month, but he doesn't anticipate taking any time off and that lines up with both the Knicks' expectations and ours. Felton will play through almost anything he can, but the ankle may limit what he's able to do in terms of his mobility on Saturday.

Tyson Chandler had his wrist taped at practice Saturday but said it's "fine."
"Fine" is the same way Chandler described his back and neck, which have hindered him for much of this postseason. We have no doubt that Chandler will be in the lineup for Game 6, but we also don't think he's anywhere close to as healthy as Chandler and the Knicks say he is. The Knicks must win Game 6 to avoid elimination.
