Pacers GM Kevin Pritchard said the team's top priority in the offseason is re-signing David West.
West is an unrestricted free agent, but both sides have already expressed a desire to stay together. "He's priority number one," Pritchard said. It shouldn't be too difficult to get a deal done if the two sides can work amicably together as they've done previously.

One Eastern Conference executive believes impending free agent David West could command three years and $36 million on the open market.
The Pacers would be wise to hammer out a new deal with West before July 1 hits. He's not only their leader, but he also averaged 17.1 points and 7.7 rebounds as a pure power forward. However, negotiations could get tricky thanks to West's age (33 in August) and the need to get Paul George locked up with a max-level extension.

When asked about his impending free agency, David West said that he "can't see" himself "going anywhere else."
West is integral to what the Pacers do, and with both sides hoping to extend the relationship, it shouldn't take much of an effort to get a new deal done. The real question will be what kind of contract he's aiming for, because it's possible he'll have to take a slight pay cut to remain with the Pacers.

David West (illness, fever) felt better during Monday's shootaround and he will start Game 7, as expected.
West struggled in Game 6 before hitting 4-of-6 shots down the stretch. When asked to name the hardest part of playing with a fever, he replied, "Keeping my vomit down." He had two intravenous-fluid transmissions after the game and we expect him to log as many minutes as needed to earn the Pacers a trip to the Finals.

The Pacers are "leaning toward" keeping Danny Granger off the trade market, sources told ESPN.
The Pacers could bring back Granger and go all-in for one season after narrowly missing out on advancing to the NBA Finals, or the team could look to deal him in the offseason. Granger will be involved in a plethora of trade rumors until he's either dealt or kept, so don't expect those to fizzle or die down any time soon.

Tyler Hansbrough
Sidelined
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) came off the bench for three points and four rebounds in 12 minutes on Saturday, as the Pacers won Game 6 by a final score of 91-77.
Hansbrough rolled his ankle late in Game 5, which caused some concern, but he played the most minutes of any reserve and should be ready for Monday's decisive game. Sam Young made a rare 3-pointer in his seven minutes of action, Ian Mahimni played just six minutes as Roy Hibbert avoided foul trouble, and D.J. Augustin, whom the Heat look to exploit at both ends, had just two points in 10 minutes.
