Ben Roethlisberger completed 22-of-33 passes for 379 yards with three touchdowns and one interception and rushed twice for -2 yards in the Steelers' Week 10 win over the Browns.
Roethlisberger delivered arguably his best game of the season. The irony of course is that Roethlisberger wasn’t even supposed to play on Sunday. He took over in the first quarter after Landry Jones went down with an ankle injury. Jones warmed up at the start of the second half but never saw the field again. Roethlisberger started out mostly in the shotgun but used his legs a little more as the game progressed. He was so sharp Sunday it’s a wonder the Steelers didn’t start him in the first place. Ben set an NFL record for the most passing yards by a quarterback off the bench. Roethlisberger belongs on the QB1 circuit, even in a tough matchup against Seattle after the Steelers’ bye week.
