DT Marcus Stroud will sign a one-day contract with the Jaguars so he can retire as a member of the organization.
Stroud, who turns 34 next week, spent seven productive seasons in Jacksonville after they drafted him with the No. 13 overall pick in 2001. In his prime, Stroud was a premier run-stuffer that also racked up 22 sacks as a Jaguar, playing alongside Big John Henderson. Stroud made three Pro Bowls. Shoulder injuries and an inability to fit in a 3-4 scheme crippled Stroud's late-season career in Buffalo and New England. Wed, Jun 20, 2012 10:04:00 AM
