Chargers signed CB Derek Cox, formerly of the Jaguars, to a four-year, $20 million contract.
The deal includes $10.25 million guaranteed. One of the better young cover corners in football, Cox signed with the Bolts before making a scheduled trip to New Orleans. He was drawing interest from all around the league. Cox has picked off four passes in three of his first four NFL campaigns, but has also missed three or more games each of the past three seasons.
