Titans CB Jason McCourty said he is not interested in making the switch to safety.
McCourty's twin brother Devin made the switch for the Patriots and has thrived in his new role, but Jason is not as gung-ho about the change. "Right now I envision myself as a corner, because that’s what I play," McCourty said. "I honestly feel right now I am best suited at cornerback and can help this team most at cornerback." McCourty said he would make the change if that is what the team needs, and it might with S Michael Griffin a potential cap cut. McCourty struggled after undergoing groin surgery in the preseason and had his season ended by another groin surgery in November. His injury matched with several others in the secondary caused the pass defense to crumble down the stretch. The Titans need McCourty back healthy next year. Jan 11 - 11:46 AM
